Dye Sublimation printing on Tension fabric

Dye sublimation printing is when the ink is transferred into the polyester fabric through a heat press, as opposed to being printed “on” the fabric. The heat transfers the ink from the transfer paper that the image is originally printed on, and turn into a gas that the fabric absorbs when it is processed through the heat press. The fabric and print are completely dry once it has run though the heat press which prevents the ink from dotting or spreading. The ink dries so fast that the images and colors are clearer and sharper.

Tension fabric usually apply on aluminum tubing or frame that fits seamlessly together and is easy to setup. The aluminum tubing or frame often comes in unique shapes and designs that the polyester fabric fits over and takes the shape of.
