What is a PVC canvas material?
The PVC(polyvinyl chloride) Canvas is also called PVC canvas fabric, or PVC tarpaulin canvas. It’s a durable material created from natural or synthetic fibers that often is laminated or coated with a layer of waterproof material. Because polyester canvas PVC can be welded rather than knitted, making it simple to produce. It’s a strong material that comes in a variety of colors and is simple to clean and repair.
PVC canvas tarpaulin is widely used in the fields of agriculture and industry, such as truck covers, truck side curtains, awnings, tents, fish tanks, athletic and outdoor products, swimming pool covers and fences.
Is PVC canvas 100% waterproof?

Is PVC canvas weather resistant?
The industrial PVC canvas material is famous for its tensile strength and superior durability to resist the impacts of weather. The range of our PVC canvas temperature resistance is from -35 to 70 celsius degrees. Apart from the excellent performance of weather resistance, the PVC canvas holds up well to the influence of fire, heat, alcohols, fats, oils, salts, and inorganic chemicals. Moreover, PVC fabric is also resistant to exposure of UV radiation(sunlight), the prolonged sun exposure has little or no impact on the durability and flexibility of the PVC canvas.
The difference between Laminate and PVC coated material
The major distinction between the PVC coated canvas and PVC laminated canvas lies in the manufacturing process. For PVC laminated canvas, the top and bottom materials are fused or rolled around the base cloth to hold it together. The laminated coating layers are then simply fused to one another through the base cloth’s open areas. As for PVC coated canvas fabric, it is attached to a unique adhesive procedure to the base fabric.
The first stage of this procedure is to spread a strong glue in and around each base fabric thread. The PVC coating then is applied over the glue while it’s still liquid. Finally, heat and pressure are employed to fuse them all together.
In a word, PVC laminated canvas is covered in vinyl films that are pressed on. The exterior surface of the laminated canvas is essentially the plastic paper. However, PVC coated cotton canvas is just like a cookie that is covered in a layer of vinyl-like substance that can not see through immediately.
