Can I Print PVC Mesh Without a Liner?

Yes, if the printer maker approves porous media and the machine has the correct ink-through collection system. Open mesh lets ink pass through the holes. The system must catch that ink before it reaches the platen, vacuum path, fans or other machine parts.

Do not use linerless mesh because the printer has vacuum alone. Check the machine manual, installed mesh kit, media path, head clearance, tension, curing and cleaning method first.
