What Is Flame-Retardant Display Fabric?

Flame-retardant display fabric is printable textile media whose flame-spread performance is assessed to a named test standard. It is used for exhibition graphics, backdrops, frame displays, table covers and lightboxes where the venue asks for fire-performance documents.

Flame retardant does not mean fireproof. Approval depends on the exact fabric, test method, report, finished graphic and local venue rules.

Is flame-retardant display fabric fireproof?

No. Flame retardant means performance was assessed against a named flame-spread test or classification. It does not mean the fabric cannot burn.
