Quick Guide to One Way Vision Ratios

More printable areaA larger printed surface can improve image density, but the view from inside becomes more limited.
Balanced starting pointPublished 30/70 or 35/65 T/O products are common commercial starting points for storefront and general glass advertising.
More transmissionPublished 40/60 and 50/50 options are useful comparisons when inward visibility or light transmission has higher priority.

Important: suppliers may write perforation, open-area and T/O ratios in different orders. Confirm the current datasheet, physical hole pattern and printed sample instead of purchasing from ratio wording alone.

One Way Vision Selector FAQs

Which one way vision is a practical storefront starting point?

PV1615 is the popular regular-grade starting point in this selector. Compare PV1612 for an economy campaign, PV1618 for a thicker premium construction and PV1919 when smaller holes are important.

Which model should I compare for better inside visibility?

Compare the published 40/60 and 50/50 options, including PV4060PM and PV5050. More transmission can improve the inward view, but the printed image may look lighter. Approve a real printed sample.

Which model has 1.0mm holes?

PV1919 is the published small-hole option. It lists 1.0mm holes, 40/60 T/O, 160μm film, a 190gsm liner and removable clear acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Can one way vision guarantee privacy at night?

No. The effect depends on light contrast. When the inside becomes brighter than the outside, people outside may see in more easily. Test the actual lighting and use blinds or other privacy control when needed.

Does one way vision need lamination?

Not every job requires it. A perforated-compatible laminate can help keep water and dirt out of the holes and protect the print. Test optical clarity, hole bridging, edge behavior and removal before approval.

Can I order a roll wider than 1.52m?

The product presets used by this selector list widths up to 1.52m. Ask UNISIGN to confirm any wider current option, or plan panels after checking glass divisions and installation seams.
